Hello Ladies! My name is Nidhi Thawal and I am writer/blogger. I was a Company Secretary by profession before I dropped my corporate career to pursue my passion and interest in writing. I have worked as a freelance content writer, ghost writer, guest blogger and copywriter in last few years, before I finally decided to step up and start my own blog. So you’ve long been pensive about doing something for yourself at the comfort of your home? When did you last thought of starting a blog but dumped the idea considering it too big an effort to be done? Domain, hosting, designing and what not? And the biggest pain - hiring a website developer!! I want to set the record straight with one thing - #No, you do not need a developer to help you with blogging, at least not getting started with it. An idea and a wish to showcase your interest, idea or expertise is enough to get the balls rolling for you! And you don’t have to be techie or a nerd to be doing that! It’s as simple as signing up for a social media platform! Okay, may be a bit more than that but nothing as gigantic as it is presented to be!! Not being a geek myself, I also wondered upon the possible anomalies that people associate with blogging. More because I wanted to earn from it too! I thought of doing a course as well that claimed to turn me into an internet hero overnight. But ditching all those thoughts, I chose to struggle with all the glitches that came with it only to find out that it’s pretty doable! I learnt every day and improvised every bit of my website on the go! I designed it myself watching YouTube videos and reading a lot from google. Not trying to undermine the significance of being technically sound here, but as for blogging, it is not the only prerequisite that governs. If you’re up for learning as you progress and let go of pre-conceived notions in your head, then there’s going to be no looking back for you. IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN TOO!!  Now I am a full time (self-taught) blogger and have eventually started earning through it too. The response is really good in last 6 months and website rank is inching upwards. I work at my convenience and absolutely love what I do.
